Director, Capital Formation – Private Equity & Debt

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Director of Capital Formation to lead our global fundraising activities across Private Equity and Private Debt strategies. Based in Dubai, the role works closely with senior leadership, investment professionals, and founding partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi‑year capital raising strategies across Private Equity and Private Debt funds.
• Identify priority investor segments, target markets and channels for capital deployment.
• Leverage an established network of institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, pension funds and asset managers.
• Lead investor meetings, presentations, due‑diligence discussions and negotiations through to closing.
• Manage the full investor lifecycle from engagement to onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
• Coordinate complex LP due‑diligence processes, including DDQs, data requests and investment‑committee materials.
• Oversee the development of PPMs, pitch decks, factsheets and bespoke LP materials tailored to different investor profiles.
• Expand the firm’s investor base across the GCC, Europe, Asia and other strategic markets.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in capital raising, investor relations, private equity, private credit, investment banking or asset management.
• Proven track record of raising capital for PE, private credit or alternative investment strategies.
• Established network of LPs and institutional investors, especially in the GCC, Europe and international markets.
• Deep understanding of fund structures, private markets and institutional due‑diligence processes.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with senior leadership and investment teams.
