Director - Identity & Access Management

About the role

An exceptional opportunity for a senior cybersecurity professional to shape the strategy, governance, and evolution of enterprise identity and access management capabilities. This role will oversee the development of modern access management frameworks and strengthen cyber resilience across a complex, large‑scale digital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise strategy for identity and access management.
• Oversee identity governance initiatives, including RBAC, SSO, MFA, privileged access management, and identity lifecycle management.
• Manage network security controls such as segmentation, firewalls, VPNs, intrusion prevention, and web application security.
• Advance the implementation and maturity of security architecture across the organisation.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity operations teams to enhance monitoring and cyber‑resilience capabilities.
• Oversee access governance, compliance, audit, and risk‑management programmes.
• Provide strategic guidance and executive‑level reporting on cyber risk, security posture, and access‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• UAE national with a Family Book (mandatory).
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in cybersecurity, identity and access management, digital security, or related management roles.
• Proven experience overseeing enterprise‑scale cybersecurity programmes and governance frameworks.
• Strong expertise in IAM technologies, authentication platforms, access governance, and network security controls.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP or equivalent are highly desirable.
