Director of Assets Management Department

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Director to lead the Assets Management Department, overseeing assets, facilities, engineering projects and support services. The role ensures operational efficiency, sustainability, safety and service excellence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational plans for asset and facility management, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Manage service contracts, monitor contractors and service providers against agreed service levels.
• Maintain accurate asset records, monitor conditions and identify improvement opportunities.
• Promote sustainable and energy‑efficient use of facilities and resources.
• Lead engineering, construction, renovation and development projects, reviewing technical studies and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, budgets and timelines for all projects.
• Oversee facilities monitoring, access control, security, safety, cleaning and other support services.
• Coordinate with internal departments, government entities, contractors and consultants.
• Prepare periodic operational, technical and performance reports and recommend improvements.
• Develop team performance, identify training needs and foster a culture of accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in asset, facilities or engineering management.
• Proven track record in leading large multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
