Director of Finance – Emirati

About the role

The Director of Finance will lead all financial planning, budgeting, reporting and investment activities for the organisation in Dubai. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures regulatory compliance, accurate forecasting and cost optimisation while overseeing corporate services and administrative functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies and procedures.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, budgets and forecasts.
• Lead treasury management, investment optimisation and cash‑flow planning.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Design and maintain pricing models to drive revenue growth.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal controls.
• Drive cost‑optimization initiatives and operational efficiency.
• Manage ERP implementation, workflow automation and corporate services.
• Control office‑related expenditures, vendor relationships and facilities management.
• Lead, mentor and develop finance and corporate services teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA or CFA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of finance experience, including managerial roles.
• Proven track record of leading finance teams and delivering accurate financial reporting.
• Strong communication, presentation and leadership abilities.
