Associate Tax (UAE)

About the role

Metaworld Consultant is seeking an Associate Tax professional to support its Tax team in the UAE. The role focuses on operational tax compliance tasks, preparing filings and maintaining documentation under direct supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare inputs for VAT returns, corporate tax computations and other FTA filings using provided templates.
• Maintain tax filing calendars, trackers and logs to ensure timely submissions and payments.
• Support e‑invoicing compliance by validating invoice data and attaching supporting documents.
• Assist in collecting information for cross‑border and intercompany transaction reviews and basic transfer pricing analyses.
• Prepare tax payment instructions, reconcile payments to bank statements and flag outstanding items.
• Maintain organized electronic tax folders, ensure version control and support audit document retrieval.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.
• More than 1 year of experience in tax or accounting roles, preferably with exposure to UAE VAT and corporate tax processes.
• Basic understanding of IFRS and its impact on tax reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with common accounting/ERP systems.
