About the role
The Director of Groups & Events supports the seamless execution of property events, driving revenue growth and ensuring exceptional guest experiences at Marriott Al Forsan.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in managing event operations, budgets and profitability.
- Research and analyze competitor products, pricing and services.
- Review scheduled events, troubleshoot challenges and coordinate with culinary teams on food safety.
- Oversee banquet, event services and technology, and support the event planning team.
- Maintain meeting spaces, furniture, equipment and inventory per corporate guidelines.
- Introduce ideas to remain competitive, develop vendor relationships and generate incremental revenue.
Required profile
- High school diploma/GED with 3 years event‑related experience, or a 2‑year degree in Hospitality/Business with 1 year experience.
- Proven ability to meet brand targets, ensure employee satisfaction and deliver financial performance.
