Director of Nursing – IVF (UAE)

About the role

The role provides strategic leadership for nursing and allied health services across a multi‑site IVF network in the United Arab Emirates. Reporting to senior management, the Director of Nursing will shape clinical excellence, quality standards and workforce strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to nursing, allied health, unit managers, head nurses, infection control, quality officers and IVF coordinators.
• Develop and implement the nursing strategic plan aligned with clinical and operational goals.
• Drive a culture of quality care, patient safety and regulatory compliance across all sites.
• Lead workforce planning and resource management to balance clinical quality with operational efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with physicians, regulators and multidisciplinary teams to enhance integrated patient care.
• Mentor and develop nursing talent, overseeing succession planning and professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s or specialised healthcare management degree desirable).
• Minimum 5 years nursing management experience as a Unit Manager or Deputy Nursing Director within an IVF centre.
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience in IVF.
• Eligibility for registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
• Strong leadership, quality improvement and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
