Director of Revenue

About the role

The Director of Revenue will lead pricing strategy and revenue optimisation for Anantara Downtown Dubai, a luxury hotel within the Minor Hotels portfolio. This senior role collaborates with all revenue‑generating departments, ensures technology is fully leveraged, and drives performance across distribution channels.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate weekly 3‑month forecasts for room revenue by market segment.
• Prepare rolling 12‑month monthly forecasts for room revenue by market segment.
• Set and communicate hotel pricing strategy, referencing market intelligence, buying patterns and seasonality.
• Support pricing decisions for F&B, Spa and other revenue‑generating departments.
• Chair weekly Revenue Meetings, distribute minutes and action plans.
• Set monthly upselling targets for front office and reservations.
• Contribute to the annual budget for all revenue streams and assist in updating the sales and marketing plan.
• Ensure full utilisation and understanding of PMS and RMS technologies according to the property’s business mix.
• Measure performance across distribution channels to achieve fair market share.

Required profile

• Proven ability to develop and communicate pricing strategies.
• Experience supporting revenue decisions for multiple hotel departments (rooms, F&B, Spa).
• Strong analytical capability to produce accurate short‑ and long‑term forecasts.
• Leadership skills to chair revenue meetings and drive cross‑functional collaboration.
• Understanding of hotel budgeting and sales‑marketing planning processes.
