Director of Sales – Hotel Opening Team

About the role

Join the opening team at Radisson Hotel Fujairah as a dynamic sales leader. This role offers the chance to shape the market positioning of a brand‑new hotel and drive revenue across corporate, leisure, groups and Meetings & Events segments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the hotel’s sales strategy aligned with commercial objectives.
• Lead, motivate and develop the sales team to achieve individual and hotel revenue targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, groups and Meetings & Events segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, travel partners, DMCs, government entities and other key business partners.
• Manage key accounts, conduct regular sales calls, client visits and market activities.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Marketing, Reservations and Operations to maximise business opportunities and hotel performance.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, adapting sales strategies accordingly.
• Represent Radisson Hotel Fujairah at industry events, networking opportunities, trade shows and sales activities.
• Contribute to establishing the hotel’s commercial presence and account base during the pre‑opening phase.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel sales leadership, such as Director of Sales or Assistant Director of Sales.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE hospitality market and key business segments.
• Well‑established network of corporate, travel trade and industry contacts (advantageous).
• Demonstrated business development, negotiation and account management abilities.
• Commercially driven with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
• Confident leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a sales team.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of hotel revenue and market performance.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• UAE and pre‑opening hotel experience highly desirable.
