Director of Solutions

About the role

Supermicro is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Senior Director of Solutions to lead a high‑performing team that supports multiple sales divisions across EMEA. The role aligns solution strategies with revenue goals and ensures seamless execution across cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop product roadmap and lead the development and integration of storage/server and JBOD system products.
• Define and deliver a clear solution strategy in partnership with marketing, engineering, and business development.
• Create technical product requirements for cloud and data‑center infrastructure based on customer needs, industry trends, and business objectives.
• Engage with customers at senior executive, engineering, and product‑marketing levels to communicate capabilities and gather feedback.
• Escalate critical issues to senior management and vendors as needed.
• Provide product training to internal sales teams and external customers.
• Deliver third‑level support for both internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of hands‑on experience in system/server architecture.
• Proven track record in product marketing or product management, overseeing products from concept through launch and end‑of‑life.
• Strong knowledge of computer architecture.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
