Disputes Associate – International Arbitration (3‑5 PQE)

About the role

Join a leading international law firm’s disputes practice in Dubai as a Disputes Associate (or Senior Associate) with 3‑5 years of post‑qualification experience. You will work on high‑value, cross‑border arbitration, litigation and advisory matters for major corporates, financial institutions and public bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice and dispute assessment from inception to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, arbitration statements, witness statements and other legal documents.
• Assist in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations and court proceedings across the UAE, Middle East and international jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with lawyers from other practice areas and offices to deliver integrated solutions.
• Maintain client relationships and support business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Common Law‑qualified lawyer with 3‑5 years PQE.
• Strong experience in disputes, preferably with exposure to international arbitration or complex commercial disputes.
• Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills.
• High commercial awareness and ability to provide pragmatic, solutions‑focused advice.
• Proactive, self‑starting attitude with the capacity to manage multiple matters under tight deadlines.
