District Manager – Retail (Dubai & Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The District Manager is the business and operational leader for a portfolio of retail stores across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape regional strategy, drive performance, and ensure an exceptional in‑store experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead 6‑10 owned and operated stores with annual sales of AED 15M‑35M.
• Drive store‑level sales, productivity and operational excellence in partnership with Store Operations, Location Planning, Supply Chain, H&S and Accounting.
• Elevate visual merchandising standards and ensure brand‑aligned floor sets.
• Allocate workforce, manage payroll within store budgets, and analyse retail KPIs.
• Collaborate with HR, Recruiting, Maintenance and other partners to solve district needs quickly.
• Develop, inspire and retain a diverse multi‑layered store leadership team.
• Maintain staffing levels while promoting top talent and fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Retail management experience leading at least 3 direct reports and a team of 30 people.
• Proven multi‑unit management experience in specialty retail (preferred).
• Fluent English with the ability to communicate with business partners.
