Document Control Administrator

About the role

The Document Control Administrator will manage the document control system for our group, ensuring accurate data collection, reporting, and distribution across construction projects. This role requires bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English and a solid understanding of construction terminology.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse statistics and general data, compiling them into established reports for internal and external use.
• Develop new reports or revise existing ones in spreadsheet, graphical, or narrative formats as directed.
• Verify data accuracy, such as matching supplier invoices with file copies.
• Originate correspondence and routine reports without supervisor intervention.
• Handle telephone inquiries, sort and distribute mail, and maintain equipment logs.
• Maintain and oversee the group’s document control system (Aconex or PMWeb).
• Prepare budget-related data, recurring reports, and preliminary reconciliations.
• Coordinate physical space requirements, initiate PC and telephone requests, and update the corporate directory.
• Produce occupancy and staffing reports as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Bilingual in Arabic and English with a working knowledge of construction terminology in both languages.
• Strong written and oral communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in standard office practices and business English.
