Document Controller – Construction & Fit‑Out

About the role

Gateway Interiors LLC is seeking a Document Controller to support its interior fit‑out and construction projects in Dubai. The role focuses on managing all project documentation, coordinating permits and approvals, and ensuring smooth handovers through accurate record‑keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Control, update and maintain all project documents and records.
• Liaise with internal teams, clients, landlords and authorities to obtain approvals and access permits.
• Ensure timely submission of documents and follow up on pending approvals to keep projects on schedule.
• Compile and prepare complete handover dossiers for project close‑out.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience in document control, preferably within interior fit‑out or construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction and fit‑out documentation processes.
• Excellent coordination and follow‑up abilities.

Required skills

• Document control and permit coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Working knowledge of Photoshop and PDF documentation tools.
