Crane Operator – Heavy Lifting (UAE)

About the role

The role involves conducting pre‑operational inspections, operating cranes according to approved lift plans, load charts and safety procedures, and ensuring all lifting activities are performed safely. The crane operator works closely with lifting supervisors, riggers and site personnel to support daily lifting operations across construction and industrial sites in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Perform various lifting operations using 150‑280 t all‑terrain, 150‑280 t crawler and 400‑700 t crawler cranes.
• Lift, position and place machinery, equipment or large objects at construction sites and industrial facilities.
• Inspect cranes daily, report any malfunctioning parts and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Execute lifts safely and in compliance with lift plans and load charts.
• Maintain constant communication with site manager, foreman, rigger and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Physically fit and able to work in demanding site conditions.
• Minimum 5 years of GCC experience as a crane operator.
• Valid GCC driving licence for at least 5 years; UAE heavy‑tractor licence preferred.
• Provide employment/experience certificates covering at least 5 years, clearly indicating the role of crane operator.
