Document Controller

About the role

The company, a leading interior fit‑out contractor in the UAE, is seeking an experienced Document Controller to manage all technical and commercial documentation throughout project lifecycles. This full‑time position ensures that project documents are accurately logged, tracked, and archived in compliance with client and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, log, track, and distribute incoming and outgoing project documents, drawings, and correspondence.
• Administer transmittals, RFIs, submittals, and revision logs using Oracle Aconex.
• Maintain organized digital and physical archives for easy access by project teams and stakeholders.
• Audit document submissions to ensure adherence to company guidelines and client quality standards.
• Coordinate document workflows between internal engineering teams, subcontractors, and external consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of document control experience, preferably within the UAE interior fit‑out or commercial construction sector.
• Proven ability to manage large volumes of technical documentation and maintain strict revision control.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency with Oracle Aconex.
