Door Attendant – Concierge (Luxury Resort)

About the role

Join the iconic Madinat Jumeirah Resort as a Door Attendant – Concierge, providing the first and last impression for guests at the luxury Jumeirah Mina Al Salam property. You will be the welcoming face of the hotel, ensuring seamless arrivals, departures, and guest interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, open doors, and anticipate their needs to create a positive impression.
• Assist with luggage handling, coordinate bell services, arrange taxis or rides, and manage valet traffic.
• Monitor the entrance, screen visitors, enforce safety procedures, and report any suspicious activity.
• Provide accurate information on hotel amenities, dining options, events, and local attractions.
• Receive, sign for, log, and distribute packages and deliveries according to hotel protocols.
• Maintain a clean, orderly entrance area and support front‑desk and concierge teams during peak periods or emergencies.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, well‑groomed appearance.
• Excellent knowledge of the hotel property and surrounding area.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and safely handle luggage.
• Previous experience in hospitality or customer‑facing roles is preferred.
