Ecommerce Fulfilment Assistant

About the role

The Ecommerce Fulfilment Assistant is responsible for supporting the efficient processing and fulfilment of all online orders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company standards for Adventure HQ. The role assists the Ecommerce Executive in achieving fulfilment KPIs and operational goals while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare online and marketplace orders accurately, verify SKU, price, quantity and conduct quality checks.
• Coordinate timely dispatch of orders from all pickup locations and manage invoicing and delivery fee validation with logistics partners.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct regular counts, report discrepancies and shortages to the Ecommerce Executive.
• Process returns and exchanges, inspect returned items and update records promptly.
• Support customer queries on order status, returns and delivery issues, escalating complex cases as needed.
• Follow safety and operational procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Provide feedback on process inefficiencies and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma/degree in Business, E‑commerce, Logistics or Retail Management is an advantage.
• 2‑4 years of relevant experience in e‑commerce fulfilment, retail operations or warehouse order processing.
• Experience handling high‑value, technical or specialized products with strong attention to SKU accuracy and product condition.
• Proficiency with e‑commerce, POS, ERP, inventory and order management systems.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for tracking and basic reconciliations.
