Storekeeper – Warehouse Inventory Management

About the role

Zahr Freighters is seeking a responsible and organized Storekeeper to manage daily stock and storage activities in Dubai. The role involves receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking materials while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods, verify quantities against documents and inspect for visible damage.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations using proper storage practices.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records and issue materials to authorized staff.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Update stock information using Microsoft Excel, ERP or other inventory management systems.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor when replenishment is required.
• Coordinate with logistics, procurement, finance, drivers and warehouse staff.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in Logistics, Warehouse Management or Business Administration is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control and stock management procedures.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Good numerical and record‑keeping skills with strong attention to detail.
• Physically fit and capable of handling materials safely.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well in a team.
