Economics Teacher – Grade 11 & 12 (CBSE)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Economics teacher to deliver the CBSE curriculum to Grade 11 and 12 students in Dubai. The successful candidate will bring strong subject expertise and a passion for helping students achieve excellent board exam results.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Economics lessons for Grades 11 and 12 following the CBSE framework.
• Prepare students for board examinations through targeted revision sessions and practice tests.
• Develop engaging classroom activities that foster critical thinking and real‑world application of economic concepts.
• Collaborate with department colleagues to align curriculum and share best teaching practices.
• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement.

Required profile

• MA in Economics and a Bachelor of Education (no distance or open‑university degrees).
• Proven experience teaching Economics in a CBSE school for Grades 10‑12.
• Demonstrated record of strong student performance in board exams.
• Creative, enthusiastic, and able to work effectively within a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
