About the role
The Instructor of Electrical and Computer Engineering will join Abu Dhabi University’s Dubai campus to deliver undergraduate courses, support student learning, and contribute to the department’s academic mission.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and laboratory sessions in electrical and computer engineering subjects.
- Prepare, update and organise course materials, syllabi and assessment tools.
- Evaluate student performance through exams, projects and assignments.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to undergraduate students.
- Participate in departmental research, curriculum development and service activities.
- Ensure teaching aligns with international engineering education standards.
Required profile
- Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience teaching at the undergraduate level.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Commitment to academic excellence and student development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a university environment.
