Electrical Design Engineer – Commercial And Institutional Segment

About the role

Eaton is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to create reference designs for the Commercial & Institutional Buildings segment in the UAE. The role blends low‑voltage, medium‑voltage, UPS, energy‑storage and life‑safety systems into integrated solutions that address customer challenges and support Eaton’s growth in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with segment strategy leaders to define target sub‑segments such as healthcare, education, retail and mixed‑use.
• Develop reference designs and sales tools that showcase the full Eaton portfolio for each sub‑segment.
• Map use cases, create a library of reference applications, and align designs with the product roadmap.
• Work with Business Unit product managers and application engineers to position offerings and define optimal technical solutions.
• Translate designs into detailed visual assets – design guides, CAD files and technical specifications – together with the Marcom team.

Required profile

• Electrical engineering background with experience in building‑level power systems.
• Ability to interpret technical and business requirements and turn them into scalable designs.
• Strong communication skills to interact with product managers, sales teams and marketing colleagues.
