Electrical Draftsman – AutoCAD & Revit MEP

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Draftsman to produce accurate electrical drawings for construction and MEP projects in Dubai. The role requires strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit MEP, as well as a solid understanding of UAE electrical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical layouts, including lighting, power, cable trays, and low‑current systems using AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP.
• Develop single‑line diagrams, schematic diagrams, and comprehensive electrical shop drawings.
• Coordinate electrical drawings with HVAC, plumbing, architectural, and structural disciplines.
• Incorporate consultant and client comments, issuing revisions as required.
• Create as‑built drawings and update documentation based on site changes.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, UAE regulations, and company standards.
• Maintain proper drawing revision control and documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 2–5+ years of hands‑on experience in electrical drafting for MEP projects.
• Demonstrated experience on UAE or GCC projects is preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities to work with engineers, BIM teams, and project managers.
