Electrical Engineer Site Supervision

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead site supervision of electrical works on a major project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing installations, ensuring compliance with UAE codes and safety standards, and delivering high‑quality electrical systems on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect all electrical installations, equipment and systems on‑site.
• Conduct daily site inspections and produce technical reports on progress, issues and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors and subcontractors to guarantee quality workmanship and timely completion.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications and technical documents to identify potential conflicts and propose solutions.
• Manage testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs, inspection records and compliance certificates.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations and occupational health standards.
• Monitor project budgets related to electrical works and support cost‑control activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in site supervision, preferably on large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE electrical codes and international standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
