Electrical Project Engineer

About the role

CSCEC Middle East is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to lead the electrical discipline on a newly awarded high‑rise tower project in Dubai. You will manage a technical team, ensure design quality, and oversee installation, testing and commissioning of all electrical services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, support and supervise the electrical technical team, allocating work and ensuring targets are met.
• Guide detailed engineering design and conduct quality reviews against UAE codes (ADDC, DEWA, DCD, etc.).
• Perform technical reviews, audits and resolve engineering issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and review BIM models, study tender/IFC drawings and raise RFIs when required.
• Design, install, test and commission electrical services, including load calculations, breaker and cable sizing, voltage drop, and capacitor bank sizing.
• Review method statements and material submittals for compliance.
• Apply DM Green building requirements and provide technical support to site, procurement and commercial teams.
• Maintain effective communication with contractors, consultants, clients and authorities.
• Supervise and evaluate engineers, inspect installations and support continuous improvement of team performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of experience in electrical engineering for construction projects.
• Proven leadership and technical management skills.
• Strong knowledge of UAE electrical codes and standards.
• Experience with BIM coordination and green building requirements.
• Ability to produce high‑quality engineering deliverables on time and within budget.
