Electrical Technician – Dubai Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Electrical Technician to join the Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai Hotel team. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems throughout the property while ensuring compliance with UAE safety standards and local electrical codes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect and maintain electrical wiring, equipment and systems according to technical specifications and safety regulations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using multimeters, oscilloscopes and circuit testers.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise system performance.
• Analyse circuit diagrams, blueprints and technical documentation to identify potential issues.
• Repair or replace faulty components, wiring and equipment with precision.
• Conduct electrical testing and inspections to verify functionality and compliance.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate schedules and ensure project completion.
• Adhere to all workplace safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of hands‑on experience in electrical maintenance, installation or repair.
• Proficiency with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, circuit testers).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits and wiring practices.
• Familiarity with UAE electrical codes and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and blueprints.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
