Electrician – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Accor is seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Electrician to join its Engineering department in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across the organization, ensuring safe and reliable power for all operations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair electrical switch‑gear, distribution networks, and related systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair various electrical appliances and equipment.
• Conduct regular maintenance of lighting fixtures, including bulb and tube replacement.
• Service and maintain emergency power supply and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of electrical systems and completed work.
• Collaborate with other teams to complete projects and resolve issues.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff and guests in work areas.
• Participate in energy‑conservation initiatives and implement efficient solutions.

Required profile

• Valid electrician licence or certification.
• 3–5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in hospitality or a similar industry.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various positions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings.
