Electrician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our maintenance team at Al Maha Arjaan by Rotana in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will ensure all electrical systems and equipment operate safely and efficiently, supporting our commitment to exceptional guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with relevant codes.
• Maintain M&E and HVAC equipment throughout the hotel, focusing on health and safety.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems.
• Fix mains and domestic single‑ and three‑phase distribution systems, lighting, and in‑house power installations.
• Support emergency services, including fire alarms, standby power, generators, and battery systems.
• Control and troubleshoot M&E‑related equipment such as televisions, hair dryers, shavers, sockets, and guest lifts.
• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to locate wiring and equipment, ensuring compliance with building and safety codes.
• Use power tools, measuring devices, oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps for installation and testing.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with a diploma in electro‑technical services and a high‑school qualification.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance of hotel equipment.
• Strong command of English and ability to diagnose and rectify faults.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, adaptable, and able to stay calm under pressure.
