Elementary School Teacher – Primary/Homeroom

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Primary/Homeroom Teacher to join our international school in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will deliver the primary curriculum, assess student progress and support the overall wellbeing of the classroom community.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the primary curriculum.
- Assess and record student achievement regularly.
- Provide pastoral care, promote student wellbeing and manage classroom behaviour.
- Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure a safe learning environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
- Recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of primary teaching experience.
- British Curriculum experience is a plus.
- Immediate availability and preferably already based in the Emirates with attested documents.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of primary curriculum and assessment practices.
- Experience with pastoral care, student wellbeing and behaviour management.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student safety.
