ELV Project Engineer

About the role

The ELV Project Engineer will lead the planning, coordination and execution of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across construction projects in Abu Dhabi. Working with a licensed system integrator, you will ensure that CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, SMATV, BMS interfaces, PA/GA and other low‑current systems are delivered on time, to specification and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage ELV work plans, method statements, shop drawings, material submittals and schedules.
• Review project drawings and specifications to verify accurate execution of ELV installations.
• Monitor daily site activities, supervise subcontractors and technicians, and resolve technical queries and clashes.
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, IT and main contractor teams to align ELV works with overall project timelines.
• Conduct inspections, testing and commissioning, and produce inspection reports, test results and as‑built documentation.
• Liaise with consultants and clients for approvals and final hand‑over.

Required profile

• Minimum 48 months (4 years) of experience in ELV system installation and commissioning.
• Proven ability to work on construction sites and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of international standards for low‑voltage systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
