About the role
The Employee Relations Specialist supports daily HR operations by handling employee inquiries, processing payroll data, and maintaining accurate records. This position acts as a primary contact for HR questions and assists in ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE labor law.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for general HR inquiries and direct employees to appropriate resources.
- Document employee concerns, route issues for resolution, and track outcomes.
- Collect, verify, and enter payroll data, including bonuses and allowances.
- Maintain attendance, leave, and time‑off records in HR systems.
- Update employee records in HR databases and filing systems.
- Coordinate employee service requests such as extended leaves, salary advances, and benefits claims.
- Provide administrative support for health‑insurance processes and liaise with providers.
- Assist in planning employee engagement and well‑being activities.
- Manage off‑boarding logistics, including documentation and exit interviews.
- Generate standard HR reports and prepare communication materials.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in HR operations or employee services.
- Familiarity with UAE labor law and basic HR policies.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Working experience with HR systems; experience with ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle is desirable.
