Energy Lead

About the role

The Energy Lead will head the Construction Energy Team, ensuring the delivery of temporary power solutions, energy optimisation, monitoring and innovation across Innovo projects in Dubai. This senior engineering role combines technical expertise with team leadership and cross‑functional coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop the Energy Engineering Team, planning activities to meet project goals.
• Manage temporary power studies, construction energy optimisation and energy audits, reviewing all technical deliverables.
• Oversee monitoring of electricity, fuel and temporary plant consumption, identifying efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with project, plant, procurement, tendering and sustainability teams, supporting pilot projects and value‑engineering initiatives.
• Prepare monthly energy reports, dashboards and KPI summaries, maintaining accurate consumption and savings records.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality and company procedures, promoting safe and sustainable practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading an engineering team in a construction or energy‑focused environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on cost‑effective solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple disciplines.
