Engineer – Implementation & Constructability

About the role

The Engineer – Implementation & Constructability will support the planning and delivery of a large‑scale mixed‑use development programme in Dubai. Reporting to the Implementation Manager, the role translates master‑plan and design information into practical, buildable implementation strategies and produces clear technical reports and presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Review master‑plan and design information for buildability, flagging conflicts, clashes and construction risks early.
• Develop construction methodologies and provide constructability input to designers, supporting value engineering.
• Prepare 2D and, where required, 4D phasing plans, sequencing and line‑of‑balance logic to enable efficient progress.
• Plan construction logistics, including laydown zones, traffic‑management and delivery strategies for multi‑contractor sites.
• Develop implementation metrics using GFA, programme data and regional benchmarks to support resourcing decisions.
• Support contract and work‑packaging strategies and coordinate interfaces across master‑planning, infrastructure and multiple contractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Construction Engineering (or related discipline) with approximately 10 years of relevant experience on large building or infrastructure projects.
• Hands‑on exposure to construction planning/phasing, constructability, site logistics or contract packaging, preferably on giga‑/mega‑projects or mixed‑use developments in the Gulf region.
• Working towards professional registration/chartership (e.g., CEng or PE) is desirable.

Required skills

• AutoCAD and Civil 3D for design and spatial planning.
• GIS tools such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
• Project scheduling software – Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Advanced Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• 4D/BIM tools (e.g., Synchro, Navisworks) and data‑visualisation tools like Power BI.
• Adobe InDesign for high‑quality report production.
