Engineering & Maintenance Supervisor – Mechanical

About the role

The Engineering & Maintenance Supervisor will support the Director of Engineering in managing daily engineering operations at Rosewood Abu Dhabi. This role ensures that all mechanical systems, equipment, and facilities run efficiently and safely, contributing directly to exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement, receiving, and inventory control for engineering supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor vendor relationships, purchase orders, service agreements, and deliveries to meet operational needs.
• Support preventive maintenance planning and track engineering work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, documentation, reports, and departmental files.
• Assist with departmental budgeting, financial reporting, accruals, and related administrative processes.
• Supervise daily engineering activities and collaborate with associates, vendors, and cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in engineering or facilities management.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a hotel environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
