Engineering Manager

About the role

The Engineering Manager will lead all engineering and maintenance activities at the Dubai plant, ensuring uninterrupted production, optimal equipment performance, and compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance (PM&R) programs for all plant equipment to maximise uptime and operational efficiency.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs such as downtime, MTTR, and reliability trends, and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain engineering standards, documentation, equipment history, and technical manuals.
• Provide technical support to production teams to resolve operational issues quickly.
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment, ensuring seamless integration.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement projects to enhance equipment performance and maintenance practices.
• Manage spare parts procurement, stock levels, reorder points, and inventory optimisation while controlling obsolete stock.
• Prepare and manage engineering and maintenance budgets, monitor costs, and control contractor expenditures.
• Plan and execute plant projects, upgrades, and annual shutdown activities, coordinating external contractors and technical service providers.
