Purchasing Manager

About the role

The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for the complete procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining and comparing quotations, negotiating prices and payment terms, coordinating with Reception to issue Purchase Orders, and managing deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure materials required for event production, scenic fabrication, exhibitions, stage sets, and temporary structures such as timber, steel, aluminum, acrylic, fabrics, paints, hardware, electrical and printing materials.
• Work closely with Project, Design, Production, Workshop, Logistics, Accounts and Management teams to secure competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery according to project deadlines.

Required profile

• Preferably Indian national, aged 30–45, with own car and a valid UAE driving licence.
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in the UAE, with background in event scenic production, exhibitions, fabrication, fit‑out, interiors or construction.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook.
• Experience with purchasing systems.
