Engineering Officer – Aircraft Data & Digital Operations

About the role

The Engineering Officer – Aircraft Data and Digital Operations ensures Etihad Airways maintains airworthiness standards through the management of the Electronic Technical Log (e‑Techlog) system. You will support regulatory compliance, data integrity, and digital solutions that underpin aircraft continuing airworthiness.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the operation of the e‑Techlog process in line with technical procedures and GCAA CAR M regulations.
• Administer the eCentral 8 platform and e‑Techlog device, handling configuration changes and user access.
• Identify and resolve data errors, generate audit reports, and maintain accurate aircraft airworthiness records.
• Provide training on the electronic technical log to relevant business areas.
• Maintain digital reporting tools and ensure compliance with CAR M, CAR X (SMS) and other applicable regulations.
• Support safety, quality, and GCAA auditing programmes, promoting a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an aircraft licence engineer.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a Continued Airworthiness Management Organization.
• Familiarity with electronic aircraft technical log systems.
• Good knowledge of GCAA CAR M, CAR 145 and CAR AIR OPS regulations.
