Engineering Supervisor – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead the maintenance and engineering team at The St. Regis Downtown Dubai, ensuring all hotel facilities operate safely and efficiently for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, equipment and mechanical systems.
• Calibrate controls, gauges and meters; operate shut‑off valves, power lifts and conduct fire‑pump and generator run tests.
• Inspect fire sprinkler valves, alarm systems and oversee life‑safety checklists.
• Manage inventory, order parts, maintain purchase order logs and ensure accurate stock levels.
• Respond to guest repair requests and assist in developing disaster response protocols.
• Support management in hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating engineering staff.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering or maintenance experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to follow safety policies, report hazards and maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Preventative maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Calibration of gauges and meters.
