Engineering Type Instructor

About the role

Emirates Engineering Training seeks an experienced Engineering Type Instructor to deliver approved type and task training for the EK fleet, ensuring compliance with GCAA and EASA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct aircraft type training (Cat B1.1/B2, Cat A, Cat C) and specialized courses such as cabin maintenance, engine overhaul, and borescope inspection.
• Develop, organize and update course materials and examination papers in line with EPM, MOE and MTOE procedures.
• Act as designated examiner, analyse exam results and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver engine run‑up training, classroom and simulator sessions, and online synchronous learning via MS Teams.

Required profile

• Degree or Honours in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic or related engineering, or an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer licence (B1/B2).
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years as an aircraft instructor.
• Approval on at least one aircraft type (e.g., B777, A380, A350) and thorough knowledge of licensing systems.
