Bell 412 Simulator Instructor

About the role

CAE is looking for an experienced Bell 412 Simulator Instructor to join its training team. The successful candidate delivers high-quality flight simulator instruction to pilots, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company training objectives, and prepares aviation professionals for safe and efficient operations on Bell 412 aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ground school and simulator training for Bell 412 pilots in line with FAA, EASA, GCAA and other applicable regulations.
• Teach normal, abnormal and emergency procedures, aircraft systems and operational performance.
• Evaluate trainees, give constructive feedback and complete all required documentation.
• Keep up to date on Bell 412 systems, procedures and industry best practice.
• Help develop and improve training programmes and courseware.
• Ensure compliance with CAE's Safety Management System (SMS).

Required profile

• Valid Bell 412 type rating (preferred).
• At least 1,000 hours of total flight time, with significant Bell 412 experience.
• Previous experience as a flight or simulator instructor; rotary-wing experience required.
• EASA qualification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic training environment and adapt to client needs.
