Enterprise Account Executive – South Africa (Dubai)

About the role

Snowflake is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to drive net‑new enterprise business and acquire new logos for the South African market, operating out of Dubai. The role combines strategic prospecting, solution selling and close partnership with customers to accelerate their cloud data journey.

Key responsibilities

• Drive net‑new enterprise business and logo acquisition across the South African territory, focusing on prospecting and winning new customers.
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas by developing and executing a territory sales plan and marketing initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customers’ IT roadmaps and positioning Snowflake’s solutions.
• Qualify prospects, create new sales opportunities, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and close.
• Conduct executive and C‑level discussions, arrange positioning meetings, and support newly acquired customers through onboarding.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that drive pipeline and revenue growth.

Required profile

• 7+ years of field sales experience, preferably in data or cloud‑related technology.
• 5+ years generating net‑new business and acquiring enterprise logos within the META region, specifically South Africa.
• Proven ability to prospect, develop and close new client relationships, achieving $1M+ ARR quota annually.
• Strong track record of consistent prospecting activity, pipeline generation and quota attainment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment and manage complex sales processes.
