Entry-Level CNC Machine Operator

About the role

The CNC Machine Operator will manufacture power‑section components (stators and rotors) for oil‑field directional drilling. This entry‑level position follows strict procedures, SOPs and safety guidelines while working on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment and overhead cranes to move parts and products.
• Follow manufacturing procedures for stator and rotor production, verifying critical parameters at each step.
• Perform quality‑control checks and document results in the ERP system.
• Maintain tools, gauges, and equipment; support routine repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Report any abnormalities, safety concerns or process variations to supervisors.
• Participate in continual‑improvement and problem‑solving initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic math skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, routers and SOPs.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic and basic electrical systems.
• Experience with safe use of power tools in a manufacturing environment.
