ESB Developer – Middleware Integration (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced ESB Developer to join Synechron’s Abu Dhabi team on a 4‑5 month contract. The role focuses on building and securing middleware services that connect the centralised RDBMS with the FinnOne Loan Origination System.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement ESB services that expose CASA scorecard variables via secure SOAP APIs.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth2, JWT token validation and mTLS mutual authentication.
• Apply request validation, throttling/quota enforcement, caching and standardized error handling.
• Define and enforce an API versioning strategy using semantic versioning, ensuring backward compatibility and managing deprecation.
• Build non‑production sandboxes and developer‑portal artifacts such as API specifications, usage examples, Postman collections and client stubs for the FinnOne LOS integration team.
• Collaborate closely with the FinnOne LOS team to ensure seamless integration and data flow.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in enterprise service bus architecture and integration within financial services.
• Hands‑on experience integrating with FinnOne LOS or a similar loan‑origination system.
• Strong understanding of API security, integration patterns and RDBMS concepts.
