Estimator – Construction Tender Specialist

About the role

Our client, a Tier 1 main contractor operating in the UAE, is seeking an Estimator to manage the full tender process for high‑value construction projects. You will work from initial enquiry through to tender submission, collaborating closely with design, planning and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings and specifications to identify scope, risk and opportunities.
• Prepare bills of quantities and perform take‑offs from drawings.
• Issue enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers, analyse returns and level them.
• Build up rates for labour, plant and materials and develop cost plans and budgets.
• Prepare and submit tender packages, and attend mid‑tender and post‑tender meetings with clients and consultants.
• Support handover of successful tenders to the delivery team.

Required profile

• Proven estimating experience with a main contractor in the UAE or GCC.
• Strong knowledge of measurement, take‑off and rate build‑up.
• Confident communication with subcontractors, clients and consultants.
