Executive Assistant to Founding Partner

About the role

Laborde Law is seeking an Executive Assistant to work directly with the Founding Partner. This high‑trust, high‑autonomy position supports senior‑level decision‑making and ensures the partner’s time and focus are optimally structured across a global arbitration practice.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic calendar management, including priority architecture and deep‑work protection.
• Inbox triage, drafting responses, and managing follow‑up communications.
• Complex travel planning across multiple jurisdictions and time zones.
• Preparation of meeting briefing packs, post‑meeting tracking, and coordination of high‑level events and conferences.
• Maintenance of contact databases, relationship tracking, and support for business‑development initiatives.
• Logistics for thought‑leadership activities such as publications, panels, and speaking engagements.
• Anticipating bottlenecks, reducing cognitive load, and ensuring a sustainable work rhythm during intensive periods.

Required profile

• 5+ years supporting a senior partner, CEO, founder, or senior executive.
• Experience in an international law firm, private‑equity, top‑tier consulting, professional services, or a family‑office/UHNW environment.
• Demonstrated anticipation, discretion, composure under pressure, precision in written communication, and sound judgment.
