Expeditor – Procurement & Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Expeditor ensures the timely procurement and delivery of goods and services required for company operations. Working closely with suppliers, logistics partners and internal stakeholders, the role coordinates purchase orders from release through to final delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Expedite purchase orders (POs) to guarantee on‑time material availability.
• Monitor order progress with local and international suppliers, identify delays and implement recovery plans.
• Maintain real‑time ERP/SAP records of PO and shipment milestones.
• Serve as primary liaison between suppliers, Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, Engineering, Finance and end users.
• Coordinate transportation planning (air, sea, land) and work with freight forwarders to ensure cost‑effective deliveries.
• Oversee warehouse receiving activities, manage shipment exceptions and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support global supplier outages, emergencies and business‑critical requirements.
• Prepare supplier performance reports and provide management updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Previous experience in procurement expediting, supply chain or logistics, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, energy or infrastructure environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
