Material Handling Equipment Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Technician to maintain and repair Toyota Material Handling Equipment at Al Futtaim Automotive in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering first‑time fixes, minimizing repeat complaints and supporting both workshop and field operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting and diagnosis on Toyota material handling machines, including electric/BT/VNA systems.
• Read and follow workshop manuals and service checklists to ensure accurate work and compliance with best practices.
• Identify faults, recommend solutions and execute repairs to achieve first‑time resolution.
• Communicate work progress and findings clearly to the Foreman or Service Supervisor.
• Proactively spot potential issues during on‑site and field jobs and document them.

Required profile

• Technical or trade diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Minimum five years of hands‑on experience with material handling equipment, preferably Toyota or BT.
• Valid UAE manual driving licence.
• Strong command of English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills
