Facilities Management Officer

About the role

The FM Officer plays a vital role within the Operations – IFM department at UAE Integrated Facility Management, based in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures smooth and efficient facility management operations, focusing on energy and waste management, preventive maintenance, and system controls to sustain a well‑maintained environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, BMS, and CCTV systems.
• Manage energy consumption and waste management protocols to meet sustainability goals.
• Interpret and apply CAD drawings for operational planning and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated facility management plans.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and customers, ensuring satisfaction.
• Take accountability for assigned tasks and follow‑through on action items.
• Support team objectives and drive continuous improvement in facility operations.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in Facility Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certifications in energy management, waste management or facility management are advantageous.
• Strong foundational knowledge of technology and data applications used in facility management.
• Familiarity with CAD interpretation and best practices in HVAC, BMS and CCTV controls.
• Proven experience in facility management with a focus on preventive maintenance, integrated FM planning and system control management.
• Effective communication, customer focus and a proactive, action‑oriented mindset.
