Facility Technician

About the role

AirQ is seeking a Facility Technician to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and upkeep of its office, workshop, warehouse and other facility areas in Abu Dhabi. The role combines hands‑on technical work with coordination of contractors and internal teams to keep the environment safe and functional.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, general maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry and building systems.
• Support renovation, modification and equipment relocation projects, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
• Coordinate external contractors, monitor their work, verify completion and enforce site safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate asset records, track equipment condition and manage preventive‑maintenance schedules.
• Assist the Facilities team with day‑to‑day operational tasks, emergency maintenance and overall facility cleanliness.

Required profile

• Diploma, ITI or equivalent technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Maintenance or a related field.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in facilities, building or property maintenance.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
