F&B Attendant – Pool & Beach Bar

About the role

Join the InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa team as an F&B Attendant for the pool and beach bar. You will support a busy bar operation, prepare and serve a variety of beverages, and ensure guests enjoy seamless service from sunrise to sunset.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily bar operations, including opening, closing, set‑up and preparation for service.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks, basic cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks and juices.
• Take food and beverage orders, make recommendations and ensure accurate, efficient service.
• Maintain stock levels of beverages, glassware, garnishes and ice; report low supplies or equipment issues.
• Keep the bar, service station and surrounding pool/beach areas clean, organised and hygienic.
• Engage with guests, understand preferences and recommend drinks and menu items.
• Handle guest bills, payments and transactions accurately when required.
• Assist with poolside and beachfront food and beverage service during busy periods.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in F&B or bar service, preferably in a hotel, resort or beach club.
• Good knowledge of basic bar operations, beverage service and glassware set‑up.
• Ability to work outdoors in hot and humid conditions while maintaining presentation standards.
• Physical ability to lift, push or pull objects up to 23 kg and perform bending or kneeling tasks.
• Basic literacy and numeracy for reading, writing and handling transactions.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Compliance with local food‑handling and alcohol‑service regulations.
• Strong communication skills and a warm, welcoming personality.
